Solar Panel Kits

We, at MCG, understand that every PV installation is different and as such we devote more time to ascertain the needs of every job. There are numerous considerations to make when designing a system such as:

  • Actual (accurate) roof sizing
  • Gutter height from ground
  • Type of roofing (Tiling such as Slate, Plain, Pan-tile etc.)
  • Distance between Rafter / Beams and whether vertical or horizontal
  • Wind & Snow loads
  • Obstructions such as chimney, Dormer windows or sky lights to name a few
  • Shading issues from surrounding areas
  • Roof Pitch
  • Roof orientation (N, S, E ,W)

We then need to assess what panels would be suitable for each project and how they are to be arrayed.

A full 'MCG' quotation will take into account all of these factors and then give a breakdown of the individual parts that make up the system. It will include a layout design for both how the panels are to be arranged and where / how the mounting system is to be installed. We will then give an idea of payback vs. generation for the chosen system based on the irradiance value of the area it is to be installed.

The materials / products used are the best the industry can offer as we have spent a great deal of time making sure that our systems are second to none in quality and value for money.

The equipment will include:

  • Photovoltaic panels (MCS approved)
  • Grid Tied Inverter (G83 accredited)
  • Roof / Ground Mount system
  • Isolators (AC & DC)
  • Generation Meter (MID / Ofgem approved)
  • PV rated Cable (TUV approval)
  • PV Connectors
  • Warning Labels (MCS approved)

As you can see a Photovoltaic system is not as straight forward to design (and get right) as it seems and at the end of the day, you only want to fit it once.

A Domestic & Commercial design request form is available to download from this site and must be completed before any project is undertaken.
